"Da na na na na, da na na na na, da na na na nalala na," Sonic hummed to the tune of Kanto Route 1 as he was walking. "Man that is one catchy tune. Not as catchy as one of my songs but still."

He continued walking and humming that tune until a trainer suddenly jumped in front of him. That trainer was a female with rainbow colored hair and a rainbow colored hat, a cyan shirt, and some cyan jeans. She was carrying a small cyan colored bag to her side. Extending from her back were two cyan colored wings.

"Sonic, I challenge you to a battle," the trainer said as she pulled a Pokéball from her bag.

Sonic put his hand at the back of his head right under his spikey blue hair. "You want to battle me Rainbow Dash? Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm sure," Rainbow Dash answered, confidence not dropping from her magenta eyes. "I'm going to defeat you right here and now and prove I am the best!"

"Fine then," Sonic said as he grabbed a Pokéball from the inside of his blue vest. "We'll do a three on three battle; the first to lose all three of their Pokémon loses."

They both threw their Pokéballs at the same time and out of Rainbow Dash's Pokéball came a Blastoise, and out of Sonic's Pokéball came out a Lucario. Both trainers took their positions behind their Pokémon as the battle began.

"Heh, a Blastoise?" Sonic asked. "Isn't that a little slow for you tastes?"

"You say that now, but when Tank defeats you you'll be whistling a different tune!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Fine then, it's your choice," Sonic said. "Lucario, Extremespeed!"

Sonic's Lucario launched a swift attack that happened in the blink of an eye into Dash's Tank. But of course because Dash's Tank is quite literally a tank, the attack didn't really do much. Sonic's Lucario then went back over to his side of the field.

"Ha, if you thought that would allow you to win, then you've got another thing coming," Rainbow Dash said. "And just so you don't try any more physical moves on me…Tank, use Skull Bash!"

Tank lowered his head and simultaneously raised his defense. However Sonic wasn't going to let that stop him so for the turn Tank was charging Sonic had his Lucario let loose an Aura Sphere. Because Tank's Special Defense was not raised he took the full damage from that attack, however it still wasn't that strong from Tank's high defenses.

Tank unleashed his Skull Bash on Lucario, however because he was a normal type attack and Lucario is a steel type it only did half damage. Though Sonic's Lucario still was knocked back quite a bit from attack. Tank walked back to his position as Lucario steadied himself.

"Heh, not bad," Sonic said. "You were taught well. However play time is over. Lucario, ThunderPunch!"

Lucario's fist was enveloped in a bunch of electricity as he went forward with a strong punch into Tank. That attack was actually quite powerful against Tank and this time he actually showed visible signs of damage. Things were starting to look up for Sonic, since now he has a damaging attack. Yet Rainbow Dash still looked confident about something.

"You can bet I was taught well," Rainbow Dash said, "and I was even taught this. Tank, use Iron Defence!"

Tank went inside his shell and his shell started shining like steel. When he came out his defenses were raised making ThunderPunch pretty much ineffective. That put Sonic into a corner.

Darn, Sonic thought, that leaves me with little options. I could still use ThunderPunch and hope for a critical hit or paralysis, but I don't like to leave anything to chance. Close Combat will only be a hindrance to me and Extremespeed won't do anything. It looks like I'm stuck with Aura Sphere. So Sonic commanded his Lucario to do just that.

"Running out of options Sonic?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Well my awesome Pokémon certainly isn't. Tank, use Hydro Pump!"

Tank activated his shell water cannons and shot out a swirling blast of water at Lucario. It hit hard and that is all Lucario wrote. After the blast hit, Lucario was on the floor knocked out from the blast. Sonic was forced to return his Lucario to his Pokéball and plan out a new strategy. And by plan a new strategy I mean just send out a new Pokémon.

"I'll admit, that was actually impressive," Sonic said. "However don't think you've won yet. This battle is far from over. My next Pokémon is going to take down Tank no problem. Come on out Electrode!" Sonic threw his Pokéball and out came an even larger inverted Pokéball. "Now it's time. Time for Guile's Theme!"

Suddenly a strange disco sounding music filled the air. Sonic facepalmed and said "I said Guile's Theme, not Miror B's theme!" The music stopped abruptly and then changed into something much more epic sounding. "That's better."

"Uhh…what exactly is that for?" Rainbow Dash asked. She had a really confused expression on her face.

"It's Electrode," Sonic said as if that explained everything.

"Right…" Rainbow Dash just shrugged her shoulders. "Whatever. Let's just get back to the battle."

"Ok then. Electrode, use Electro Ball!" Sonic called out.

Sonic's Electrode quickly shot out an electrical ball that went straight for Dash's Tank. Because Electro Ball is more powerful the faster the user is than what it hit's Tank took massive damage which was just doubled by the super effective attack. It was safe to say that Tank was down for the count.

With and angry expression on her face, Rainbow Dash returned Tank to his Pokéball and grabbed out another one. She threw it and out came a Swellow. When Sonic saw that, he let out a good laugh.

"A Swellow?" Sonic asked. "You do realize that I am still using an Electric Type right?"

"It doesn't matter," Rainbow Dash said confidently. "I'm still going to win!"

Sonic shrugged. "If you say so. How about I end this off quickly? Electrode, use Electro Ball!"

Electrodes Electro Ball hit Swellow hard; however Swellow was still up and moving due to Electro Ball's effects being lowered by Swellow's speed. Which was exactly what Rainbow Dash was hoping for.

"Swellow, use Agility!" Rainbow Dash commanded.

Swellow suddenly moved back and forth between different spots at high speeds. Swellow's speed became much higher than Electrode's, effectively rendering Electro Ball to be mostly useless beside the super effectiveness of it. Of course Sonic wasn't done yet.

"You may have knocked down that one move, but just in case I planned on another Electric Type move," Sonic said. "Electrode, use Charge Beam!"

"Ha, that's exactly what I wanted you to do!" Rainbow Dash said. "Swellow, use endure!"

While Swellow was bracing herself for the next attack Electrode was charging up all of it's electrical power. Electrode released it's electrical power at Swellow, however Swellow managed to survive barely with only a bit of her health left. Even though she survived however, Swellow still didn't look too good from the attack.

"Stay strong Swellow," Rainbow Dash, "just a bit longer. Use Endeavor!"

Sonic realized exactly what Rainbow Dash's strategy is as Swellow pulled all of it's power into an attack on Electrode leaving Electrode as weak as it is. Now both of them were made so weak that just one attack could knock out either of them.

"Really, that's your game huh?" Sonic asked.

"Yeah, Shadow told me all about it," Rainbow Dash said. "I think he called it the fear tactic or something like that. I might not have a Rattata to use it with but either way I'll use it to take down your Electrode."

I just hope Shadow didn't spell out for her exactly what F.E.A.R means. Sonic thought to himself. "Obviously somebody wasn't paying when she was told how to do that," Sonic said.

"What do you mean by that?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Simple," Sonic said. "Because you attacked first it's my move. Leaving you wide open for my next attack." Realization crossed Rainbow Dash's face and she became angry about it. "But hey, I'll be nice for you. Electrode, use Explosion!"

Electrode suddenly exploded hitting Swellow in the process. They both fell done with that explosion and both Sonic and Rainbow Dash returned them to their Pokéballs. Sonic and Rainbow Dash then took out their final Pokéballs and got ready to send them out.

"Well this is it Rainbow Dash," Sonic said, "our last Pokémon. I hope you're ready, because I save the best for last!" Sonic threw his Pokéball and out came a Latios. "It's time for you to face a Legendary Pokémon," Sonic continued. "This guy was pretty difficult to catch. I had to run across half a continent in order to catch him. Of course when I first saw him I knew I had to catch him. Now I hope whatever the last Pokémon you have is ready to face the true might of a Legendary."

"Heh, I'm good," Rainbow Dash said. "You may have a Legendary Pokémon, but if what Shadow said is right, my next Pokémon will be more than enough to end it. So I hope your ready Sonic. Because it's time to come out. Missingno!"

Rainbow Dash was starting to throw her Pokéball as Sonic heard what she said. "Missing…wait NO!" Sonic called out but it was too late. Rainbow Dash's Pokéball opened and the 032i55ot4thr;gvn;agnqer'lgnelq'gjndfal;gnefkj;qgherq;ther;gheqkj;gnjerkjq;gbqefkgbqefkjfbgqekjlbgrjkebgkjlerbgkjwebgkebgkjerbfgklbgerwkjbgerklbgrewkbgrkewlgbkerwlbgerwkgbkerwbgkfwlbrkwbgkerwlbgkerwbgjerwkjlgrwklgbjkerwgbjkregbjkerwbgkjwrbgkrbwkjgwk_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

In the living room Sonic was looking at the TV screen angrily and was about ready to throw his controller at it. To Sonic's right sat Rainbow Dash, who was looking really confused as she put her controller that Tails modified to work with hooves next to her. To Rainbow Dash's right sat Twilight, who was also looking confused, though more so at the fact that to Sonic's left Shadow was laughing then what happened on screen.

"Really Shadow?" Sonic asked. "Did you have to hack in Missingno for her? Great, now I'll have to ask Tails to fix my system again."

"Well that's your fault for forcing me to teach her how to play the dang game," Shadow said. "Next time one of them asks you to teach them how to play a game, teach them how to play the game."

"What the hay happened?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Shadow gave you a glitch Pokémon which crashed the game as soon as it was sent out," Sonic explained. "So now I'll have to get Tails to fix my system before I can use it again. Thanks Shadow."

"So then does that mean our battle is over?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Sonic just groaned and walked off, probably to go off and find Tails to fix it leaving Rainbow Dash, Twilight, and Shadow behind. Shadow continued having a good laugh about exactly what he did. And Rainbow Dash and Twilight were still confused.

"I still don't get it," Twilight said, "but then again I never really got the point of the game in the first place."

"I have a basic knowledge of what happened there," Shadow said, "however Tails would be the one who is best to explain it to you. So I would recommend asking him when Sonic brings him back instead of me."

"Ok I guess I'll do that," Twilight said.

"I think I've got it," Rainbow Dash said, going from surprise to anger. "You tricked me in order to get back at Sonic didn't you?!"

"Not really," Shadow said. "I told you if you used Missingno it would end the battle. You chose to interpret it differently than how it actually was. Besides, Tails knows how to fix it so you can have another battle with Sonic later."

Rainbow Dash grunted. "Fine. I guess I'll have to beat him later."
Some things to note before you leave a comment. First off what Sonic and Rainbow Dash have would not necessarily be on a final team for them. For Sonic I would probably trade the Electrode for a Jolteon. And Rainbow Dash would obviously not have the Missingno.

Second, I am not a competitive battler. So any inaccuracies I make is mostly because of that lack of knowledge. I only know about the F.E.A.R method is because when I was getting a description for Endeavor it was on there and I was curious.

Third, yes Sonic has a Legendary. Well Shadow has a Mewtwo and Tails has a Shaymin so they don't have anything to complain about. The reason they do have legendaries is their teams are all origianly from a Sonic/Pokemon crossover I was planning on doing before going for a Sonic/PMD crossover.

And before you go "but Soniclink I thought you hated Humanized/Anthropomorphic Ponies" well, yeah I do but mostly in drawings more than anything else. And also these are more Sonic and Rainbow Dash personified as Pokemon Trainers then them actually being humanized.

Anyways, now that the wall of text is over, welcome to the first thing I ever did that combines the main 3 fan fics I do into one. This was definitely interesting to write, and was done so more for comedic purposes than anything else. I might someday do a full battle between these two, but that won't be for a long time.

Oh and if you get the reference with the Electrode, you get a cookie.
